| 李大钊在《民彝与政治》中挖掘中国古代传统文化中的民主思想，赋予"民彝"以新的内涵。李大钊在结合中国古代的民本主义和西方近代的民主主义思想的基础上提出的民彝史观，抓住了近代西方民主政治的精髓，对民众起到政治启蒙作用。李大钊的民彝史观是他早期民主政治思想的集中表现，也是他对近代中国民主政治建设的理论总结，为他向唯物史观的转变准备了条件。 |

| In his work Min Yi and Politics, Li Dazhao analyzed the democratic thought in the traditional Chinese culture,endowing "Min Yi" with a new connotation. On the basis of the ancient Chinese people-orientation concept and the modern western democratic thought,he put forward his historical view on "Min Yi", which captured the essence of modern western democracy and had a political enlightenment to the people.Historical view of "Min Yi" is the concentrated expression of Li Dazhao’s early democratic political thoughts and it is also a theoretical summary of the construction of modern China’s democratic politics. These prepared Li Dazhao for the change to the historical materialism. |
