| In Critique of the Gotha Program, Marx, from the perspective of historical materialism, criticized the distributive justice ideas of Lassalle and emphasized that the realization of distributive justice fundamentally depends on the nature of the mode of production. The basic principles of distributive justice must be adjusted according to the development of productive forces, and the fundamental value of distributive justice is aimed at achieving free and all-round development of human beings. Marx’s distributive justice ideas are an important theoretical source and practical guide for common prosperity, which is an essential requirement of Chinese-style modernization. In the new era, promoting common prosperity requires grasping the prerequisites for realizing Marx’s distributive justice, promoting common prosperity through high-quality development; adhering to the basic principles of Marx’s distributive justice, and advancing common prosperity in stages and steps; understanding the fundamental value of Marx’s distributive justice and centering on the people to promote common prosperity. |
