| The Resolution(also called the third "Historical Resolution") contains rich meaning of historical materialism, from which the dialectical unity relationship between the revolution and power-holding led by the CPC can be concluded: The Party has practiced the internal consistency of revolution and power-holding; The revolution has laid the legitimacy foundation for the Party’s power-holding; The Party has maintained its revolutionary nature in governance, and the CPC is still both a revolutionary party and a ruling party on the new road in the new era. The Resolution has already stated that "holding power in revolution, and revolution after holding power" is a unique quality of the Party, which breaks through the traditional paradigm of the opposition between revolution and power-holding, and thus reveals the reasons why the Party has strong leadership, combat effectiveness, and vitality. |
