| Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization is not only the inheritance of the Marxist classic writers' concept about ecological civilization, but also the result of promoting China's traditional concept of excellent ecological civilization, and moreover, it is an inevitable trend based on the new requirements of China's socialist ecological progress in the new era, which is an important part of Xi Jinping's thought on the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the new era. This new idea is developed from profound theoretical source, rich traditional culture,and a multi-dimensional scientific connotation. The new idea has a great practical significance on people's pursuit of a better life, people's hope towards building a beautiful China and a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and new victories in promoting the socialist ecological progress with Chinese characteristics. |
