| The Communist Party of China is the leading force of the Non-Christian Movement that broke out in China in 1920s. Li Dazhao, a founder of CPC, made a unique contribution in the Non-Christian Movement in the fields of both theory and practice. He not only promoted the establishment of the Non-religious Alliance and the vigorous development of Non-Christian Movement, but also wrote numerous articles criticizing the drawbacks of religion and religious doctrine, and discussing the relationship between religious belief and freedom of thought, which constituted a powerful ideological weapon for the Non-Christian Movement. |
