| Through the description of the heroine Pecola's life in The Bluest Eyes, Toni Morrison reveals the living conditions of black women in the United States, and analyses the reasons behind their fates. Compared to the traditional black literature, this is obviously a subversive literary creation. From the linguistic narrative and rhetorical perspectives, the paper is intended to analyze Morrison's creative subversion, in order to explore Morrison's unique creative skills, and enrich the research paradigm of the novel. |
