| Yangmingism emphasizes on action to overcome the limitations of second-hand knowledge. Only by turning it to action can knowledge be useful in everyday life. Therefore, sincerity goes before the study of natural phenomena, welfare is more important than update to consciousness, and it is necessary to be kind all the time and train one's own senses. Ability lies in sense, and meaning resides in sense. |
