| Gong Nai and Li Ruone were famous writers and poets during Wan Li Period in the late Ming Dynasty. Holding the "Qi Feng" poetry banner, Gong Nai advocated that "every age had its own ideas and emotions", and strongly opposed literary imitation and Li Ruone followed him closely. In the sixteenth year of Wan Li, they got acquainted, frequently visited and conducted literary creation together. The study of their friendship can reveal when and how they made friends with each other and fill in some missing links in the research on them. |
