| Lin Liang's The Little Sun is a collection of prose created from adults' perspective. Firstly, the writer gives the "right of speech" to children and let them voice their own thinking. Secondly, A frequent use of quotation marks in his work reflects the implementation of his literary advocacy of "plain language" that can be truly understood by children. The specific narratives of space and time prevent the possible sense of estrangement between the writer and readers. Lastly, the "tenderness" in his work generates a sense of fairy tale. Thus, The Little Sun has profound literary value. |
