| Modern Chinese Political History(3 volumes), produced by Professor Wu Hanquan and published by People's Publishing House shows the grand scene of modern Chinese political development. The book has the following prominent characteristics: firstly,the book presents the process of the modern Chinese political evolution form the political perspective, secondly, it interprets the rules of the modern China's political evolution in a new light, thirdly, it treats related historical data with new theories and methods, fourthly, it places the relationship between Kuomintang and Communist Party in the key position of the modern Chinese political evolution, and lastly, it lays emphasis on the research into the relations between the modern China's politics and the world political situation. This work will promote the study of Chinese modern political history to a new stage, and lay a solid research foundation for the establishment of the discipline of the Chinese modern political history. |
