| 马家沟村始建于明代,因资源禀赋而成为近代工业的聚集地。作为滦州公司第一矿,马家沟矿的创办为马家沟村域工业近代化奠定了坚实基础,随之配套的生产生活设施在其村域及其毗邻地区逐步完善,并且衍生出的马家沟砖厂发展成为"东方最大的火砖厂"。与此同时,马家沟村域亦是唐山近代教育的勃兴之地和近代革命运动的开展之地。工业、教育与革命运动的交织发展极大地推动了马家沟村域经济社会的发展。 |

| Established in the Ming Dynasty, Majiagou Village emerged as an modern industrial hub due to its resource endowments. As the first mine of the Luanzhou Company, Majiagou Mine laid the foundation for industrial modernization in the village. Supporting infrastructure progressively expanded within and adjacent to the village, while the derived Majiagou brick factory grew into "the largest firebrick factory in the East". Concurrently, the village became a cradle of modern education and revolutionary movements in Tangshan. The interplay of industry, education and revolution significantly propelled the economic and social development in the area of Majiagou village. |
