| Deng Zhongxia is a pivotal leader in Chinese early labor movement and a pioneer in the historiography of labor movement. He combined historical materialism with the study of the labor movement history, and made outstanding contributions to the development of this history. His summarization and elucidation of the historical experience of Chinese labor movement,the new democratic revolutionary thought and the image shaping of the Chinese working class, all distinctly demonstrate a Marxist approach to scholarship, which not only enriched the content of the study of the history of the Chinese labor movement, but also laid the foundation for historiography of Chinese labor movement, having important theoretical and practical significance. |
