| Li Dazhao made indelible historical contributions to the occurrence,development and victory of the May 4th Movement. He participated in the launching of the New Culture Movement,took the lead in raising the banner of the October Revolution,fostered the backbone of the revolution and prepared the political,ideological and organizational conditions for the May 4th Movement;He always stood at the forefront of the May 4th Movement,inspired the revolutionary masses with a tenacious spirit,pointed out the direction of struggle,and played a guiding role in the successful development of the May 4th Movement;He fought against the anti-Marxist ideological trend,promoted the establishment of the Communist Party of China,safeguarded and developed the achievements of the May 4th Movement. Li Dazhao deserves the title of the leader,organizer and defender of the May 4th Movement. |
