| A Primer on Discourse Systems written by Wu Hanquan is a representative work dedicated to the study of discourse system in recent years. Taking the interpretation of Marxist writings as the academic premise, this book provides theoretical guidance for the study of the discourse system. With the discourse system as the research object,it concentrates on the nature, types,structures,function, characteristics, transformation, social attributes, logical structures,basic dimensions,operation mechanism, construction principles of the discourse system, which form the academic system about the discourse system. This book has distinctive features, where not only the concept of inheritance and innovation is integrated into the writing system,but also stress is placed on the unity of static examination and dynamic analysis,and his own relevant achievements is also applied in the views elaboration. Wu Hanquan's A Primer on Discourse Systems is a pioneering work in the academic field devoted to the study of discourse systems,which is a positive exploration for the advancement of this study. |
