| Li Dazhao both united and struggled against anarchists in the early period of the CPC. In some early Party historical documents there were criticisms of Li Dazhao's "wavering" and "hesitation" regarding his struggle against anarchists. But if the unity and struggle is put under the context of his ideological system,this criticism is not accurate. Li Dazhao's unity and struggle against anarchists was carried out under his reconciliation thought, which is manifested in his essay Freedom and Order that discusses the relationship between individual freedom and social order. |
