| With the support from Wu Peifu, Li Dazhao, Bai Jianwu, Hu Shi and Cai Yuanpei restored the first congress established at the beginning of Republic of China, which produced the "Government by the Good" led by Wang Chonghui and a series of reform programs from the August to November in 1922. This was their first attempt to establish the united democratic front and had a positive effect on abolishing evil laws, defending labor union movement and resuming diplomatic relations between China and Russia. It became a valuable heritage during China's democratization progress. |
