| 公共交通是城市发展所必需的公共基础设施，是城市经济繁荣和民众生活改善的重要环节。随着近代济南城市公共交通的引入与推广，其城市公共交通体系如同国内其他城市一样，新旧公共交通格局发生了巨大变化。这一演变极大地冲击和震撼着城市传统社会的生活，不仅改变了市民物质生活的内容和质量，而且还助推了市民公共意识的养成。 |

| Public transport is a necessary public infrastructure for urban development and an important link for urban economic prosperity and living improvement. With the introduction and promotion of modern urban public transport in Jinan,its urban public transport system,like that of other cities in China, experienced great changes in the transport patterns. This evolution greatly impacted on the life of the traditional urban society,not only changing the content and quality of the citizens' material life,but also promoting the growth of their public awareness. |
