| Western mining companies played an important role in the colonial system of British Sub-Saharan Africa and played their respective part in the collapse of the colonial rule. The roles played by western mining companies in British central Africa Federation showed that although the measures and steps taken by the companies to influence local governments, British and American governments and African national leaders were not consistent,they could jointly safeguard their collective interests and effectively exert their influence. Together with Lenin's theory of imperialism, the difference between the companies' intentions and historical results could reveal the characteristics of the Times. |
