| Tangshan is one of the cradles of modern industry in north China. Since 1870s,the first fine mine,the first railway factory and the first cement factory in China were born there. The rise of "Ceramic Capital " in north China, together with the electricity,cement machinery manufacturing, steel and textile industries, reflects the slow and tortuous development of modern industry in Tangshan. |
