| 1929年6月29日，震惊全川的遂蓬武装起义在四川省蓬溪县牛角沟镇爆发。作为土地革命时期四川地区红军武装力量和革命根据地建设的一次重要尝试，遂蓬起义建立了四川地区第一个红色政权、打破了白色恐怖的危局、播撒下了无产阶级革命的火种、有力地配合了湘鄂西革命根据地的开拓，因此具有重要的历史意义。同时，正视起义失败的事实，分析失败的原因，对于当前加强党的建设、巩固党的执政地位、实现党在新时期的历史使命，仍然具有重要的启示意义。 |

| On June 29th of 1929, the shocking Suipeng Uprising broke out in Niujiagou Town of Pengxi County in Sichuan Province. As an important attempt to establish Red Army's power and revolutionary base in Sichuan area during Land Revolution Period, this uprising produced the first revolutionary government, got out of the dangerous situation of terror, sowed the seeds of proletarian revolution and cooperated in expanding the revolutionary base in the west of Hunan and Hubei Province. Acknowledgement of the failure of the uprising and the analysis of its reasons will be enlightening to strengthen the Party building, to consolidate the administrative status and to realize the historical mission of the Party in the new era. |
