| Based on the formation of CPC's early thought on military struggle and the military work guided by the thought, the author of this paper has made an in-depth analysis of Li Dazhao's great contribution to the formation and development of CPC's early thought on military struggle, which includes his long theoretical preparation for the development of thought on military struggle when CPC was first founded, his key role in the implementation of the first KMT-CPC cooperation and the establishment of the United Front in the process of democratic revolution, his enthusiastic application and development of the Party's early military thought in the military work in north China, and the further development of the CPC's early military thought by the north branches of the Party under his leadership before and during the Northern Expedition. |
