Disease induced by Wu Shi powder poisoning had a profound impact on Wang Wei's literary creation In Liu Song Dynasty. Wang Wei combined the description of Wu Shi powder poisoning and that of patients' grievance, thus generating a touching effect and different literary features from Huangfu Mi's Wang Xizhi's, Wang Xianzhi's works. This proves that, at least form the Liu Song period, writers began to integrate the description of the sick body and the contemplation of life, which greatly enriched the literary themes, expanded the boundaries of literature about the secular life, provided resources for future disease-related literature and constituted an important link in the process of disease depiction in Jin and Tang Dynasties.
