Nihon Ryoiki is the first collection of Buddhist stories in Japan.
ts of Chinese Confucian allusions are cited in this book and these allusions are essentially different from the Buddhist subject matters.
some extent, the use of these allusions strengthens its literay effect and makes the book more impressive Besides, the allusions are complementary to the study of the author, Sino-Japan literal exchange, Nihon Ryoiki,and Ribenguo Jianzai Shumulu. |
